Huntington Beach

Orange County BeachesKnown as “Surf City USA,” and also the “Surfing Capital of the World,” Huntington Beach is famous for its world-renowned waves, but is more than welcoming to surfers and non-surfers alike. Its lively downtown center includes an active art center, colorful shopping district, and the International Surfing Museum. Huntington Beach hosts a number of festivals throughout the year, including a Fourth of July parade, a kite festival in February, classic car shows, a variety of surfing competitions, and more. Huntington Beach is also host to the annual Surf City USA Marathon and Half-Marathon, which is usually held on the first Sunday of February. Strolling along the Huntington Beach pier one can view the dazzling sunsets, watch the surfers, fish or simply enjoy the ocean breeze. Once you reach the end of the pier you can kick back with a milkshake or a burger from Ruby’s Diner.
